Artillery demonstration by Battery B, 3rd Kansas Light Artillery. Pieces fired are two cannons (an 1842 six-pounder and a twelve-pounder Mountain Howitzer, both full scale pieces). Cannon crews consist anywhere from 4 to 6 cannoneers in period correct uniform representing Union Artillery. Topics that may be addressed are “Kansas in the US Civil War, the Union Soldiers and Equipment, Explanation of cannons and firing procedures, and 2 to 3 demonstrations.

No meetings in June, July, August, November, and December.
