Ron Wilson, a published poet and speaker, is known as the “Poet Lariat.”  He has a ranch near Manhattan, KS called the Lazy T.  He will talk about the history of the Kansas City Stockyards and how K.C. became a city because of the cattle industry, and why we should be proud of the title “Cowtown U.S.A.”
