Unveiling of a bronze statue of a suffragette to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Missouri’s ratification of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution which gave women the right to vote.  This is the third bronze statue in the downtown Liberty area: George Washington at the corner of Mill and S. Leonard and Mark Twain at the corner of Kansas and Missouri streets.
