Tony Meyers will speak on “Divided Loyalties”, a book, written and published by volunteers of the Clay County Archives and Historical Library in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War.  "Divided Loyalties" was produced in honor of those who served and sacrificed during the war.  During the presentation Mr. Meyers will discuss some of the key Civil War related events that occurred in Clay County and the impact that those events had on local citizens.  Individuals who were involved will be highlighted.  The research methods that were used and the steps that were followed in producing the book will also be discussed.  This presentation will be of interest to history and genealogy buffs alike.  All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
