Incidentally the Jesse James Farm & Museum has a new exhibit featuring Frank and Annie James in their later years when they lived at the farm following the death of his mother Zerelda James Samuel. Quilts, clothing, and items found during an archaeological dig are on display, as well as Annie James’ diploma. She graduated in 1872 from the Independence Female College. Annie was from the Ralston family whose home is still standing at 2121 S. Sterling (Mansion House) in Independence. This display can be seen with regular museum admission which is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $4.50 for children. For more info go to www.jessejamesmuseum.org.
