Former Library of Congress Chief Executive Officer Donald Scott discusses his new memoir. Mr. Scott grew up poor in Hunnewell, Missouri, joined the U. S. Army and retired as a Brigadier General. From there he was a founding director of Americorps and then on to the Library of Congress. He is quite interested in the Island Mound memorial to U.S. Colored Troops.
