Stone dedication at the Bayse Cemetery for five bushwhackers killed at the Thompson Farm outside Rocheport. Reenactment will follow of the Thompson Farm fight at the Union school yard by Elliott’s Scouts. Robbie Maupin will be playing the role of his ancestor, Thomas Maupin.


Directions:  From I-70 East in Boone County, MO, take exit 117 on to Route J (between the Rocheport exit and several Columbia exits.) Go north on Route J for 5.5 miles and turn left (west) on to EE. Go 3.5 miles west on EE to Union School. Turn left (south) on to CR 431 and follow the signs to Bayse Cemetery on your right.
