Dedication of Westport Historical Marker and Covered Wagon

The “Men of Westport Historical Marker” honors the men and women of Westport and early Kansas City. The Prairie Schooner Covered Wagon is a symbol of the westward migration on the Oregon, California and Santa Fe Trails.
Speakers will be Crosby Kemper, III, Director of the Kansas City, MO Public Library; Cooper Weeks, owner of the shopping center; and Alana Smith, president of the Westport Historical Society and 1855 Harris-Kearney Museum.
Refreshments.
