invites you on a Guided Bus Tour of

Historic Fort Leavenworth, KS
The Oldest Continuously Occupied Fort West of the
Mississippi

Saturday April 22, 2017 - 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Tour bus leaves at 8:00 a.m. SHARP from the Johnson County Community College Parking Lot, located at 12345 College Boulevard, Overland Park KS 66210. (Please use the “South Campus Drive” entrance off “Quivira Road” and meet at the parking lot immediately west of that entrance, in sight of the “Hospitality and Culinary Acacdemy”).

Itinerary Highlights: Arrive Ft. Leavenworth approx. 9:00 am. See the Buffalo Soldier Monument; Clock Tower building; General’s Qtrs.; Santa Fe Trail Cut; old (and new) Disciplinary Barracks; Prisoner’s Cemetery; Custer, MacArthur and Eisenhower Qtrs; National Cemetery; Frontier Army Museum, and
more!  Some sights will be “drive by”, some will involve short walks around the site!

Lunch will be at the Army Dining Facility (“Mess Hall”) on Post!  Enjoy a full course meal or short-order meal for $5.55 per person!  Cash only please!

Depart Ft. Leavenworth approx. 2:30 pm, arrive JCCC 3:30 pm.

*This fee covers the cost of bus transportation. It does not cover the cost of the noon meal in the Army Dining Facility, which must be paid by each attendee personally at the Dining Facility door ($5.55 per person, CASH ONLY PLEASE!)
