The Anderson House served as a hospital for the Federal Troops during the 1861 Battle of Lexington.  Doctors performing surgeries, women tending the wounded, and soldiers planning their next move.

Tours cost $5 for adults and $3 for youth (not recommended for children under the age of 9).  Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling (660) 259-4654.  Tickets go on sale October 1st.  Tours last about 30 minutes.
