Tour of Main Street and Garrison School.

Prior to 1865 it was against the law to teach a slave to read or write.  For more than a century, Liberty African Americans lived under the law of “separate but equal education.”  This tour will take you into the neighborhood and school of the first African American residents in Liberty.
