The public is invited to celebrate National Train Day at the historic Chicago & Alton (C&A) Depot in Independence, MO on Saturday, May 5th from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.  Three model train displays will be running at the depot all day.  The restored depot will be open for tours all day with cake and punch served on the lawn in the afternoon for depot visitors.  The event is free, but donations are always welcome.  Visit our website at www.chicagoaltondepot1879.org
